Our Purpose is to empower the global speedcubing community and uphold a fun and fair competitive environment for all.——WCA Purpose Statement
This December, Auckland will be more than just the "City of Sails"—it will be the global epicenter of speedcubing. We are thrilled to announce the GAN WCA Oceanic Championship 2026, a premier continental event where the world’s elite cubers gather to shatter records and push the limits of human dexterity.
As the title sponsor and a pioneer in cubing technology, GAN Cube is proud to support this high-stakes arena. Whether you’re a seasoned pro chasing a Sub-5 average or an aspiring competitor ready for your first continental stage, this is the moment you’ve been waiting for.

4. Pro-Tips for the Podium
To stand out among 300 of the best, your preparation must be flawless:
- Dial in Your Setup: Auckland’s summer humidity can affect your cube’s lube consistency. We recommend carrying the GAN Lube Series to fine-tune your friction levels on the fly.
- Ergonomic Speed: For a grueling four-day competition, weight matters. Choose a flagship with a UV Coated surface for maximum grip and a lightweight design to minimize finger fatigue during long sessions.
- Simulated Training: Use the GAN CubeStation App to engage in online battles, simulating the high-pressure environment of the championship stage.
